Where Toes & Paws Meet: Help Us Raise Money for Verona Street Animal Society
I admit that sometimes I can go a little crazy on Pinterest. I'm talking party, menu, and home ideas galore. Oh, and quotes. Don't even get me started there. I feel like scrolling through the quote boards on Pinterest is almost like therapy. Sometimes things are said in a way that instantly adds perspective to the way I'm feeling. And lately I'm thinking a lot about pets. That's because we've got our Maxim Porch PETicure event coming up at the salon at the end of the month. So today I did a search on Pinterest for "animal" + "love" + "quotes" and here's some of the best that I found:

It's true. Animals have a special place in the hearts of those of us who work at Maxima Spa & Salon. I actually have three dogs, including a rescued Rottweiler. And because we see you all so regularly and we talk about what's going on--and what's important--in your lives, we know that many of you love your four-legged friends just us much as us. Because of this we want to invite you to bring along your dogs, friends, and/or family for a little pampering at our first-ever (hopefully annual!) Maxim Porch PETicure event.
You know that every year when the weather turns warm we open up our porch for pedicures. This year the porch is open with a new twist–for every porch pedicure that takes place between August 26 and 29, 10 percent of the proceeds will be donated to the Verona Street Animal Society. That number jumps up to 15 percent if you get the limited edition Maxim Porch PETicure mani/pedi. For that, you can pick out your color and then we add delicate paw print nail art on your big toes/thumbs.
During the nearly weeklong Maxim Porch PETicure event at the salon there will be a variety of special spa services and refreshments available for both people and their dogs. FREE pet services include fur/hair brushing, safe toenail polish application, and doggie bandana styling, as well as special dog treats and a community water bowl to help pups cool off.
