Why don’t kids thank us for telling them to do these things? Seriously. What I wouldn’t give to have someone tell me I had to sit and rest, eat something, and have a little fun.
This summer we’re encouraging you to take a self-imposed time out and get a pedicure on our front porch. Picture yourself comfortably seated, toes dipped in warm, bubbly water, and a soft breeze blowing across your face as you take in the sights and sounds of Park Ave.—all the while with a cool (ahem) summer beverage in your hand. You’re playing. You’re snacking. You’re taking a time out.
It’s important to take time away from the grind of every day responsibilities to breathe, reflect, and focus so that you can move forward with greater purpose, intention, and ease. Maxim porch pedicures
are lovely when you’re flying solo, meaningful when you’re spending time with one of your favorites, and just great fun as a group!
The porch can accommodate groups of six people at a time and the service, which includes cuticle work, shaping, buffing of nails, and polish, takes about 30 minutes. Cost is $35.
