As you are aware we held our 1st annual Porch PETicure to support Verona Street Animal Society (VSAS) from Wednesday August 26th through Saturday August 29th, 2015 to benefit the Enrichment program at Rochester Animal Services. The staff at Maxim Spa and Salon wanted to add to our fundraising calendar something that touched the hearts of our staff, our clients & our local community, we thought dogs were a spot on choice. A 10% donation from all Porch Pedicures, 15% if you added Maxims signature paw print, went to VSAS along with generous donations from our clients receiving other services. The amount of fun we had with this event was off the chart, we meet new friends both 2 & 4 legged, all excited to join the fun. Barb from Clip-n-Cuddle in Webster donated her time and talent to trim nails, eyes & feet along with adding a touch of color to those glamorous pups who wanted to strut our walk way with extra bling. We were excited to catch the eye of local media who held interviews on & off site to bring attention to the event, if you missed them links are below. Over the course of the event we raised $621 ALL which will go directly to house, feed & medicate the animals that have yet to find their forever home. We are already looking forward to next years event!!! Thank you to all who came & helped support our Porch PETicure event .
